Removing the Rear Bumper and Damaged Parts

Before starting the repair, I first removed the damaged rear bumper and the surrounding parts that were in the way. The rear light and the upper rear trim/part were also removed to give proper access to the damaged area.

Removing these parts made it easier to inspect the accident damage and prepare the rear section for the body repair work.

Pulling the Damaged Fender Back Into Position

After removing the necessary parts from the vehicle, I started the denting work on the damaged rear section. The fender had been pushed inward because of the accident, so it needed to be pulled back toward its proper position.

I used a pulling machine to gradually pull the damaged fender outward. The metal was worked carefully so the shape could be restored before moving on to the next body-repair stage The pulling work was carried out using a chain and a pulling tool. The chain was attached to the damaged section, and the pulling equipment was used to gradually bring the metal back toward its proper position.

This helped with the initial straightening of the heavily damaged area before continuing with the detailed denting and bodywork

Completing the Denting and Reinstalling the Bumper

After the main denting work was completed, the damaged rear section was brought back into shape and the rear bumper was fitted back onto the vehicle.

The repaired panels were now ready for the next stage. After checking the bodywork, the vehicle was prepared to move from the denting stage to the paint preparation and painting process

Preparing the Repaired Rear Section for Paint

After the denting work was completed, the repaired rear panels were prepared for the painting stage. The damaged and repaired areas were sanded to smooth the surface and remove uneven marks.

The surrounding areas were also protected with masking material, especially around the rear light and other parts that did not need paint. This preparation helped get the repaired panels ready for the next stage of the paint work

Masking the Vehicle Before Painting

After the putty work was completed and the repaired areas were prepared, I covered the surrounding parts of the vehicle with paper. Masking tape was used to hold the paper in place and protect the areas that did not need paint.

The rear section, lights, windows and other surrounding areas were covered carefully so the vehicle was ready for the paint application.

Mixing and Applying the Paint

After the masking was completed, I prepared the automotive paint for spraying. The paint was mixed with thinner and hardener and the mixture was prepared properly for application with the spray gun.

Once the paint was ready, I filled it into the spray gun and applied it over the repaired rear panels. The paint was sprayed carefully to cover the prepared areas and give the repaired section an even finish

Final Result

After completing the body repair and denting work, the rear section of the vehicle was brought back into shape. The damaged body panels were repaired, the bumper was fitted back into position, and the repaired areas were prepared for painting.

The vehicle was then masked carefully before the paint work. The repaired rear panels and other prepared areas were painted to match the vehicle’s original green color.

After the paint application was completed, the repaired areas were checked for overall appearance and alignment. The final result shows the difference between the vehicle before the repair and after the bodywork and painting were completed
